Thenkuzhal - done in two nazhi- oosi thenkuzhal and thadhiman thenkuzhal. The first is thin and slender and the second is this. The press makes the difference though both dissolve in the mouth. Each home has its own combinations . Made from my mother's recipe. Handed down to her from her mother.

I don't know how many of you like pure filter coffee. For one am alergic to chicory. I feel faint and my bile level goes up on chicory consumption and I end up with nausea and vomition. So it's a big no no for me. I love my filter cofee or kapi just the way the bean would be.

When my patti used to make this vepilaikatti, I used to think it's made of neem leaves😁. When she used to say leaves not there to make, I used to tell her , you have big neem tree and say no leaves. Learnt then it was made with a combo of lemon or narthai leaves and curry leaves with needed spices. 😊😊.

An awesome combo with curd rice. Use some gingily oil to mix and use as a side dish for idly or dosai.

Priced at Rs 70 for 4 pieces. Home made in healing environment with home grown leaves with no pesticides used.
