What is Himalayan Heritage?

Himalayan Heritage is a social enterprise based in Palampur with its roots in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi. Inspired by the ideology of Bio and Eco-centric Living, our aim is to revive and bring to the world, the best from the Himalayas.

What we do

We curate and craft eco and environment-friendly products that are sourced from the rich and natural resources of the Himalayas. Himalayan Heritage boasts of a huge range of its own Organic and Natural Handmade products namely:

Who are we?

Our founder is a passionate and enthusiastic Entrepreneur, Cook and Baker, with over 16 years of experience in the field of marketing and client relations, who gave up the city life to settle in the mountains. With a background in filmmaking and wedding designing and planning, her keen aesthetic sense and management skills drive her to explore new ideas and grow Himalayan Heritage ahead. Apart from baking, her creative outlets include music, dance and photography.

Our co-founder is the “main brain” behind our Organic and Natural products, backed by her PhD in Botany. An experienced scientist and naturopath with over 39 years of research in the anatomy and understanding the healing properties and uses of high-altitude Himalayan medicinal plants, she aims to make chemical-free, eco-living, uncomplicated for people to practice in their daily lifestyle. An artist by avocation, she dabbles in different forms of painting mediums.

Himalayan Heritage – Palampur

Tucked in the foothills of the majestic Dhauladhar Mountains, our property in Palampur is a unique and beautiful amalgamation of all our passions and is the perfect place for those seeking solitude combined with an assortment of activities. It boasts of an Eco Cafe and Bakery, a Boutique Shop (for our products), a Hostel and a Pottery Studio.

We also organise and conduct regular and customised workshops for various activities including Pottery, Painting, Kitchen Gardening, Baking, Healthy Cooking/Eating, at our property.
