It’s a well known fact that the current agriculture supply-chain is made inefficient with the presence of multiple non-value adding intermediaries. This results in the farmer on an average getting a mere 22% of the price the final consumer pays. In addition to the various other socio-economic factors, the current model of input intensive farming leaves the farmer perpetually indebted. We believe s
ustainable agriculture holds a key to breaking this vicious circle and improving the livelihood of the farmers. To this end, we, a group of passionate engineers set ourselves on a mission to decrease the inefficiencies of the current supply chain and to maximize the income to the farmers. We realize this by providing the farmers access to the urban markets and simultaneously providing you, the final consumer, with fresh and healthy produce. Currently, we work with farmers who already practice organic farming. However, as we move forward, in working with various NGOs, we wish to engage in facilitating the conversion from conventional farming to organic farming.
