Initiated in 1962, we are the first establishment in the Pokar group of family businesses. Now an independent undertaking we continue to serve the Jodhpur city by our very renowned "Pokar" values, traditions and taste. Amongst the pioneers, the pokar house of businesses was first established by my grandfather Shri Pokar Ram Ji Bhati in early 1960's. Later on his son's joined this family business a

nd the group expanded from one shop to 3 shops, and one hotel; all in your very own Jodhpur city. Shri Pokar ji first started selling mirchi vada, kachauri and samosa as a hawker in the lanes of Jodhpur. Gradually he opened a small cabin shop with very basic introductory sweets and namkeen items in a railway cabin opposite sanichar ji ka than. As the time passed and the taste became more popular, he opened a shop just by the cabin, opposite sanichar ji ka than. This page is all about this very first establishment of our beloved Dadaji. With over more than 50 years of our elders’ hard work and blessings here is the third gen of Bhati family proudly presenting the all new Pokar Sweet Home, but with the taste & traditions dating back 1960’s.
