Since 2010, it has been producing butter, ghee, ice cream and other dairy products. The Thacker Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the Thacker Group, is a legacy of Late Sri Narayanji Jivandas Thacker. He incorporated the group in the throes of Independence, in the year 1948, dealing in dry fruits and nuts. Elmac Foods, a leading brand in sauces and condiments, was also established by him.
Thacker, his son, was keen on providing the good people of West Bengal with best-in-class milk and milk products. In 1995, it was with this vision that the Thacker Dairy Company was started. The farm produces milk, butter, paneer, dahi, skimmed milk powder and other dairy products. Located in Andul, Howrah District of West Bengal, the farm supplies it's products to all over the state. The aim is simple: to create products with purity you can trust. Being environmentally friendly is a long standing goal of the company. Recyclable containers are used for milk delivery. Providing the best quality produce while being sustainable, has always been a core value of the company.
