HAL ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ତଲାପୁଟ୍ ଗ୍ରାମରେ ଘଟିଥିବା ପୋଲିସ ଦମନ ଅଭିଯୋଗକୁ ନେଇ ସାଧାରଣ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଗଭୀର ଚିନ୍ତା ଦେଖାଦେଇଛି। ଏହି ଘଟଣାର ସତ୍ୟତା ଜାଣିବା ଏବଂ ପ୍ରଭାବିତ ଗ୍ରାମବାସୀଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣିବା ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟରେ ସାମାଜିକ କର୍ମୀ ଲିଙ୍ଗରାଜ ଆଜାଦ ଓ ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ସାମନ୍ତରାୟଙ୍କ ନେତୃତ୍ୱରେ ଏକ ଫ୍ୟାକ୍ଟ–ଫାଇଣ୍ଡିଂ ଟିମ୍ ତାଳାପୁଟ୍ ଗ୍ରାମକୁ ପହଞ୍ଚିଥିଲେ।

Serious concern has emerged among the general public regarding the alleged police repression that took place in Talaput village under HAL. With the objective of ascertaining the truth of the incident and listening to the voices of the affected villagers, a fact-finding team led by social activists Lingaraj Azad and Profulla Samantaray visited Talaput village.
The team members interacted with the villagers and collected information related to the incident, gaining an understanding of the impact of the police action. They also examined whether any violations of human rights had occurred. The team stated that after completing the inquiry, the factual findings would be made public and a demand for justice would be raised.

ଆସନ୍ତୁ, HAL କେଉଁଭଳି ଭାବରେ ପୋଲିସ ପ୍ରଶାସନକୁ ଲଗାଇ ହଲ ଅନ୍ତର୍ଗତ ତଲାପୁଟ ଗ୍ରାମର ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ଦମନ ଚାଲାଇଛି, ନିର୍ଦୋଷ ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ଘର ଭାଙ୍ଗି ଦେଇ ହଲ ଉଟେଇ କେଦିବାର ପରିଆଶ୍ ଚାଲିଛି ଆସନ୍ତୁ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟବାସୀଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଶୁଣିବା ଲୋକଙ୍କୁ କିପରି ବାବରେ ପିଟାମାରା କରାଯାଇଛି—ସେଥି ଆମେ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବାସିନ୍ଦାଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଶୁଣିବା। ଏହା ସହିତ ଆମେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଜାଗୃତ ହେବା ଆଉଆଗକୁ କିପରି ଆମ ନିଜ ଜମି, ଜଳ–ଜଙ୍ଗଲ–ଜମିକୁ ବଞ୍ଚାଇପାରିବା ଏବଂ ଆମ ସଂବିଧାନିକ ଅଧିକାରକୁ ଆମେ କିପରି ପାଇପାରିବା ଆନ୍ଦୋଲନ କଡ଼େଇ କରିକି ଆସନ୍ତୁ ଭାଇ ଓ ଭଉଣୀ ଜାଗୃତ ହେବା।
Let us come together to hear directly from the local residents how HAL, by using the police administration, has carried out repression against the people of Talaput village under the HAL area—how innocent villagers’ houses were broken, how attempts were made to forcibly evict them, and how people were brutally assaulted. Let us listen to these truths from the affected residents themselves. At the same time, we must become aware and unite to understand how we can protect our own land, water, forests, and territory, and how we can secure our constitutional rights through collective and determined action. ସେରୁବନ୍ଦ ପର୍ବତର ସୁରକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଏକ ବିଶାଳ ଓ ଐତିହାସିକ ଗ୍ରାମସଭା ଅନୁଷ୍ଠିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା। ଏହି ଗ୍ରାମସଭାରେ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ପୁରୁଷ, ମହିଳା, ଯୁବକ ଓ ବୃଦ୍ଧ—ସମସ୍ତେ ଏକତ୍ରିତ ହୋଇ ଶାନ୍ତିଶୃଙ୍ଖଳା ସହିତ ଯୋଗଦେଇଥିଲେ। ଗ୍ରାମସଭା ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କରିଦେଲେ ଯେ ଜଳ–ଜଙ୍ଗଲ–ଜମି ଉପରେ କୌଣସି କମ୍ପାନୀର ଦଖଲକୁ ସେମାନେ କେବେ ବି ମାନିବେ ନାହିଁ।

On 21 January 2026, a violent incident took place in Talaput village under the HAL area, where villagers were brutally beaten by the administration. To thoroughly investigate how and why the administration used force against the local people, a court fact-finding team led by environmental activist Mr. Prafulla Samanta Ray visited the village.
The team collected complete facts, testimonies, and evidence from the affected villagers. After gathering all the information, Mr. Prafulla Samanta Ray explained the future course of action, clearly stating how, in the coming days, the Adivasi people’s land, homes, and rights will be protected, and what steps will be taken to ensure that they receive their rightful ownership and justice

On the occasion of the Jana Sampark Padyatra organized by the Serubanda Surakya Samiti, Pattangi, a Gram Sabha was held at Nuagaon Panchayat, Nuagaon, where people gathered in large numbers and sat together peacefully to attend and listen to the meeting.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on what has happened so far in their struggle-filled journey, and how they can remain united and carry the movement forward in the coming days.
Special emphasis was placed on how to protect their Jal–Jangal–Jameen (water, forest, and land) and how to further strengthen the unity of the Gram Sabha. Through this collective discussion, participants resolved to continue the struggle in a united, peaceful, and democratic manner.
