WASUKI FARMERS SOCIETY
WASUKI Farmers Society is a consortium of farmers in Wayanad district and working as an NGO for the last one year. The society is registered under Charitable Societies Act 1860 as per Reg. No. WYD/CA/316/2016 and its head office is at Meenangadi of Wayanad district. The major objectives of the society is helping the farmers for assuring livelihood and self reliance, production of safe food, uplifting the downtrodden and backward classes, natural resource management and its optimum use, energy conservation, ensuring the coming generation in agriculture and allied activities, promotion of agro-tourism, undertake various activities in production-service-infrastructure sectors, health related activities including mental health, human resource development, promote integrated and sustainable agriculture, promotion of advanced technologies and indigenous technical knowledge, R&D activities, use of information communication technology (ICT) in agriculture and allied activities etc. The registered office of the society is at Meenangadi in Wayanad district.
