"Subject: Harnessing Excess Water from Overflowing Lakes for 24/7 Supply

Dear BMC Water Department,

I hope this message finds you well. With the recent rainfall, all lakes supplying water to Mumbai, such as Tulsi, Vihar, Powai, and Upper Vaitarna, are overflowing. While this excess water is currently being released as waste, I believe there's an opportunity to optimize our water management system.

1. Upgrade distribution infrastructure to supply water 24/7 to all citizens.
2. Implement a fair and efficient billing system to generate revenue from increased supply.
3. Explore possibilities for water recycling and reuse for non-potable purposes.

By doing so, we can:

- Reduce water scarcity and shortages during dry seasons
- Increase water availability for sanitation, hygiene, and industrial purposes
- *Generate additional revenue for the government through increased water supply* (currently being released as waste)
- Enhance the overall quality of life for Mumbai's citizens

I believe this is a win-win situation for both the citizens and the government. I would appreciate it if you could explore this opportunity and take necessary steps to optimize our water supply system.
