While it would be nice to be active all day at work, the reality is that most people are stuck at their desks all day.

However, this does not mean you cannot move around at all. Get your steps in during breaks, walk over your lunch break, and ask for a standing desk.

You will damage your body if you sit for an extended period of time-but get up and move if you have the occasion. In the long run, it will certainly be beneficial to you.
