Balsamic goes with everything. ❤️
But some products lend themselves better to certain pairings. A great seasonal classic? 🍓🖤 Strawberries and Balsamic.

Meet the Satin: it’s a Condiment.
What does that mean? Condiments are the products where the producer’s creativity shines most: they allow a third ingredient to be added to the base recipe, they have a lower acidity, the aging time can vary — and as in the case of our Satin, they can come in bottles with a custom design. Like the Dahlia, designed by .

Try it on strawberries, but also on peaches and apricots, on all full-bodied fruits, strictly raw.
The creamy, silky texture, combined with the naturally sweet taste, creates a delicious pairing.

🗝️ 🏡 Le nostre camere custodiscono spesso memorie speciali della nostra famiglia.

La spalliera del letto nella camera doppia Magnolia, ad esempio, ha una storia tutta sua: porta un ricamo a punto croce fatto a mano, realizzato in occasione di un giorno molto speciale: il matrimonio di una nostra cara cugina. Erano gli anni ‘70 e lei, giovanissima, ricamava la testiera del suo letto nuziale. 🤍

Crediamo che circondarsi di bei ricordi aiuti un luogo ad avere un’energia migliore.

The headboard in the Magnolia double room, for example, has a story of its own: it carries a hand-embroidered cross-stitch, made for a very special occasion — the wedding of a dear cousin. It was the 1970s, and she, still very young, was embroidering the headboard of her own bridal bed. 🤍

We believe that surrounding ourselves with cherished memories gives a place a better energy.

Reggio Emilia, quasi in segreto, ha vestito il mondo.
👗Una pianura padana stretta tra l’Appennino e il Po, dove il prêt-à-porter si è fatto largo fino alle passerelle di Milano, Firenze e poi Parigi, New York, il mondo.

📚 Un po’ di storia: nel 1951 Achille Maramotti fondava quello che sarebbe diventato Max Mara, con un’idea precisa: portare la disciplina produttiva americana dentro la cultura sartoriale europea.
A ridosso degli anni ’70, a Scandiano (RE), nasceva Maska. In pochi anni diventava il secondo gruppo della moda reggiana, con collezioni firmate da Walter Albini, Gianfranco Ferré, Jean Paul Gaultier, Franco Moschino. Nomi che oggi riempiono i musei. Allora disegnavano per una fabbrica emiliana, conosciuta solo dagli addetti ai lavori.

Renzo Crotti, patron di Maska, è nostro padre.
Quando nostro padre cedette la società, avevamo questa casa e la produzione privata di Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Reggio Emilia DOP — una passione che lui aveva coltivato nel tempo. È da qui che nasce Il Borgo del Balsamico: un nuovo inizio, radicato nella stessa terra. ❤️
