Your venue contract could cost you your dream wedding team.
This is one of the biggest mistakes I see couples make when planning their wedding in Italy.
Choosing a venue is often the very first step when planning a destination wedding in Italy. It’s also the one that can become the most limiting if you’re not fully informed.
Couples fall in love with a venue, sign the contract, and only later realise they’ve accidentally signed away their creative freedom.
At that point, they’re often locked into using the venue’s own suppliers and can’t bring in their dream cake designer, florist, or caterer.
If you’re happy with what the venue provides, wonderful. But if you’re not, it may already be too late. Once you’ve signed, the venue has full control over who can and can’t be part of your wedding team.
Before you sign, make sure your contract includes the flexibility to choose your own suppliers. That’s when you have the most negotiating power.
