Roberto inherited the secrets of the trade directly from his family, beginning with his grandfather who, in the early 1900’s as the owner of a flour mill, opened a bakery in the center of Monza (Italy). His father Luigi followed by introducing the pastry line, which Roberto further developed to later open Il Dolce Cortile, a beautiful “Parisien” style Pastry Shop with a large bow window that surprises you with its miniature delights. With much enthusiasm and passion Roberto offers a very rare selection of desserts that include his unique and delicious gourmet cookies. While maintaining extreme respect for both the tradition and authenticity of the ingredients used, he is able to apply creative recipes, new approaches and original ideas, combined with his sophisticated presentations, offering a matchless and interesting reinterpretation of classic Italian pastries. The offer is unique, to say the least, with its rich variety of Cakes and Shortbreads, delicious Mousses and Bavaroises, Quiches and savory delights. Above all a special mention must be made of Roberto’s miniature gourmet cookies, handmade one by one, available in over 30 different recipes: the Lady's Kisses (tiny chocolate filled spheres…. #1 sold cookie) the "Hungarians" (chocolate-dipped almond horseshoe cookies), the Ovis Mollis (mini round, egg yolk yellow with a drop of either jam or chocolate, no larger than a nickel), Chocolate and Vanilla Crystals (delicately crumbly with a sugary crystal coating), Sbrisoline (tiny mini version of the Sbrisolona cake…), Parigine (chocolate pastry with a raspberry jam center and half dipped in dark chocolate…divine) … soon to be sold directly online !!!!!!
