Celebrating the International Year of the Woman Farmer ( )

Meet Lizette Snaith, co-founder of Warialda Belted Galloway Beef in Clonbinane, Australia. For over 35 years, she has helped build an ethical, pasture-based farming enterprise grounded in care for land, animals, and community.

Lizette leads customer relationships through farmers markets and direct sales, building trust through transparency, knowledge, and genuine connection.

Her work reflects regenerative grazing, low-stress animal handling, and short supply chains that strengthen local food systems and support environmental care. In 2025, she and her husband Allen were recognised with the Legendary Producer Award for their leadership in ethical farming.

This year, we honour women like Lizette: committed producers and community builders shaping more resilient and sustainable food systems.
