Today, our team had the privilege of participating in a capacity building training on Disability Inclusion, Gender Equality, and Safeguarding, facilitated by Light for the World in partnership with the Mastercard Foundation.
The session deepened our understanding of different types of disabilities, strengthened our knowledge of respectful and inclusive engagement with Persons with Disabilities, and reinforced the importance of creating safe, accessible, and equitable environments where everyone can thrive.
At Arabuko Limited, we believe that true inclusion goes beyond awareness it requires intentional action. By embedding inclusive and safeguarding principles into our work, we are strengthening our commitment to ensuring that every individual has the opportunity to participate, contribute, and succeed with dignity.
A special thank you to David Kaloki and Wilson Kamau of Light for the World, together with Martha Muthama and Maureen Atieno of Arabuko Limited, for facilitating such an insightful, engaging, and impactful learning experience. Your expertise, dedication, and practical guidance have strengthened our capacity to champion inclusion and safeguarding in our work and communities.
We are also grateful to Light for the World and the Mastercard Foundation for investing in the knowledge and capacity needed to build more inclusive workplaces and communities.
Together, we can create opportunities where everyone is valued, empowered, and no one is left behind.
