In the heart of Muranga County, where the sun shines bright,
Lived a farmer named Gitu, with a farm called Gitu Dragon Fruit Farming Kenya .
He was known far and wide for his unusual ways,
With his green thumb, he could brighten up the gloomiest of days.
One fine day in July, when the air was cold and crisp,
Gitu had an idea that left everyone's jaws agape and lisp.
He decided to plant dragon fruit, so exotic and rare,
But not in the open field, oh no, he wouldn't dare.
Inside his greenhouse, he created a dragon fruit haven,
With heaters and lights, he thought it would be a safe haven.
The villagers thought him crazy, they couldn't comprehend,
Planting tropical fruit in winter, they feared it would all end.
Undeterred by their doubts, Gitu worked with all his might,
Seeding dragon fruit and nurturing them, morning and night.
He read books and watched videos, learning all he could,
Determined to prove to everyone that he understood.
Weeks turned into months, and the dragon fruit did grow,
Gitu's greenhouse was a spectacle, a magnificent show.
The plants thrived and blossomed, their colors vibrant and bold,
The villagers were astonished, their skepticism began to fold.
Gitu's methods were unconventional, that much was true,
But his passion and dedication were a remarkable view.
He propagated the dragon fruit, with skill and care,
Hoping to have 400 plants by the year's end, if he dared.
As the year drew to a close, Gitu's hard work paid off,
His greenhouse was bursting, the dragon fruit crops aloft.
400 plants stood tall, reaching for the skies above,
Gitu's dream had come true, a testament to his love.
The villagers gathered, in awe of Gitu's achievement,
They cheered and applauded, acknowledging his bereavement.
For Gitu had shown them, with his unusual plan,
That even in the cold, dreams could sprout and expand.
So remember dear friends, when life presents a strange twist,
Don't be afraid to dream big, don't let doubt persist.
Just like Gitu's dragon fruit, against all odds, it grew,
Embrace the unusual, and let your passions break through!
