We are involved in the promotion of Modern Bee Husbandry throughout the country. We train local farming groups in apiculture, distribution of langstroth movable frame hives, Kenya Top Bar Hives and all related bee keeping equipment. The raw material from Kenyan flora is admirably suited to the production of excellent quality honey and honey products. Even in the densely populated areas and overgra
zed rural areas, there is still room for beekeeping. Bees are capable of increasing food supply and cash income to farmers without imposing additional burden on the land. Bees do not compete with animals or man for food, but by pollinating plants, they help increase food production yields. The knowledge of proper handling of bees and bee’s products can be used to sustain a viable and thriving honey industry. We support farming groups by supplying modern hives and related equipment, and also by buying honey from farmers we have trained on apiculture and supplied with bee equipment.
