We are implementing inclusive development programmes so that no part of Kenya or the community is left behind.

In Laikipia County, KSh4 billion has been allocated for the construction of the 60km long-awaited Nanyuki-Doldol road, with the contractor set to start work shortly. Overall, we are building 217km of roads across the county.

In addition, KSh60 million has been allocated for the construction of five new schools in Laikipia North to enhance access to education in the region.

We are also investing KSh15 billion in the Affordable Housing Programme, which will include building 13 modern markets.

Laid the foundation stone for the Doldol Huduma Centre, Laikipia North Constituency, which will house an ICT hub and bring 168 Government services closer to the people.

Also addressed residents of Doldol and handed over a bus to Kurum Day Secondary School.

Opuntia (prickly pear cactus) is an invasive species that is rapidly destroying our grazing land, threatening livestock, wildlife, and local livelihoods. If not controlled, it spreads aggressively and degrades our environment.
We are taking action to eradicate Opuntia and restore our land for sustainable use. This effort is about protecting our ecosystem, supporting pastoral communities, and securing a better future for the next generation.

CREATIVES from Samburu today met with fellow artistes from Laikipia and Baringo at Old Seasons Hotel in a show of unity, calling for stronger collaboration within the creative industry. Samburu Newsflash attended the meeting through our senior correspondent, Aideed Leparsaiya.

The gathering went beyond networking, offering space for open dialogue on shared challenges and the need to rise above regional and personal differences following a leaked audio from a disgraced counterpart in Kajiado county. Participants agreed that unity is key to growth, visibility and the protection of cultural heritage.

Artistes said cross-county collaboration would strengthen the creative sector, stressing that creativity has no boundaries and thrives through cooperation.

It was known by then to be serving a big number of people in our 3 communities.
it was serving 3 community lands these include Kijabe group ranch, Musul community land and Nkiloriti community land.
