Since 2023 i started setting minimum production targets for first time calvers. I have seen a significant change since then. Becky calved 11 days ago , note we had bought it at the age of 6 months. But we have achieved 26 on say 10 with 5kgs dairy meal. Will she achieve more after we start challange feeding in the next four days ?

Cctv view of the cows after evening milking. Cctv has contributed largely in the managment and fertility of the farm. Before when the cows come on heat, it was a challage to know the time it started so that we serve at the right time. But now with this and solar back up i have the farm with me 24/7 and out of 10 cows we serve we are sure of 6-7 cows conciving in the first service.
