단양 아로니아 영농조합은 우리나라 최초로 건립한 아로니아 가공센터를 단양군으로 위탁받아 운영하고 있는 법인체입니다.

단양 아로니아 영농조합은 가공실, 저온창고, 냉동창고, 선별장, 관리실, 회의실, 탈의실, 운동장, 아로니아 재배농장 등을 갖추고 있습니다.
신이 인간에게 준 최고의 선물이라는 아로니아는 다른 과일보다 아토시아닌이 많이 함유되어 있어 항암효과와 노화방지에 효과가 크며, 외국에서는 King's Berry(왕의 열매), Black choke Berry(블랙초크베리), 不老梅(불노매) 라고 불려지고 있습니다
