Every basket distributed to a displaced family consists entirely of the work of local producers. 🇱🇧✨

It’s a mix of fresh produce and pantry essentials, providing all the basics for healthy, diverse meals.

Here is what goes inside a typical basket:

🥦 FRESH
• Oranges & Lemons
• Avocados
• Bananas
• Cabbage or fresh greens
• Fresh Eggs
• Hummus & Tahini
• Labneh Baladi
• Markouk Bread
• Potatoes

📦 PANTRY
• Extra Virgin Olive Oil
• Artisanal Pasta
• Tomato Paste
• Dried Fava Beans
• Frikeh
• Local Juice or Fruit Syrup
• Traditional Jams

Basket contents vary weekly depending on what is available across our network. To date, we have sourced from 35 local producers!

and thanks to all the support we have received:

Dikken has bought:
3,984kg of products (fruits, vegetables, spices, cereals, meat)
and 8,966 item (egg boxes, dairies, salads, preserves, breads, Juices, sweets etc.)
sourced from 35 local and sustainable producers
from our network all over Lebanon

Distributed:
174 healthy baskets reaching 1,643 people

And supplied
9 social kitchens providing around 15,000 daily meals

Thanks to private and institutional support,
Dikken has been able to keep buying from its network of local producers—helping them sustain despite the crisis.
These products are then channeled to social kitchens and turned into food baskets for families who need them most.

A short supply chain that supports the local economy and strengthens our social fabric.

Many are still relying on this support to keep going.

Thanks to private donations and support from NGOs,
we’ve mobilized our network of small producers
to meet the needs of displaced communities.

A circular solidarity economy in action.

In 2 weeks:
• 17 local producers supported
• 972 kg + 1,162 additional items distributed
• ~300 people received food baskets
• 1 school + 2 community kitchens supported

Dikken el Mazraa fills this gap by purchasing directly from trusted small-scale farmers and producers across Lebanon and channeling these products to vulnerable communities and social kitchens preparing meals for displaced families .
