🌾 Diversity in Cultivation
The farm maintains a diverse range of crops using mixed cropping, intercropping, and crop rotation to support soil health and long-term productivity. A dedicated area is also maintained for seed saving, while a seed coating and seed protection facility supports the preservation and improvement of planting materials.
🪱 Turning Waste into Resources
Vermicompost and vermiwash are key inputs used on the farm. Organic materials are recycled through the vermicompost production unit and compost beds, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. A biogas unit further supports sustainable organic waste management.
🌻 Farming with Nature
A natural belt of wild sunflower plants serves as a living boundary while contributing to biodiversity. Yellow insect traps are used in the field, and birds, butterflies, and other beneficial insects were observed during the visit — signs of a farm environment where agriculture and nature coexist. 🦋
