Yuca is a woody shrub native to South America.Cassava,Manioc,Macaxeira,Mandoica and Kappa kizhangu are some of the alternative names for the plants.In Yuca the tuber root is used as food.There are many foods which can be produced using Yuca but currently in Sri Lanka boiled Cassava and Cassava chips are the most famous food variety.
