What I loved most was seeing how each of the three kids found their own little way of enjoying the farm. One was fascinated by the mud bricks, another found joy in a simple bamboo stick, and the other enjoyed pouring the tea the moroccan way ๐Ÿ˜‚

They each found something that caught their attention, in their own way and that was so lovely to witness ๐Ÿฅฐ

Had really great time with this lovely family and hope to meet again โค๏ธ

Iโ€™m so happy to share with you that Green Akal has been selected among 15 women-led projects in Morocco for a 5-month cohort supported by the Dutch Embassy ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

For the next five months, Iโ€™ll be travelling to Rabat once a month for two intensive days. Itโ€™s definitely going to be a demanding process, but Iโ€™m really excited about it.

I love spaces like this ๐Ÿ˜Š Bringing together women building impactful projects with sustainability at their core. Spaces to inspire, be inspired, and create beautiful things together ๐Ÿ’ช

Excited for this new chapter and for everything it will bring!

In nature, nothing really works alone ๐ŸŒฟ

Our sheep are part of the ecosystem of the farm. Their manure goes back to the soil and to our trees, feeding them naturally and helping them grow.

So when fig season comes (same applies to all of our harvests) and we have these beautiful fruits, it feels only natural to share some with them too ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿซถ

They give to the trees, and the trees give back to all of us โ˜บ๏ธ

These sweet, all organic treasures are harvested, straight from our trees, with lots of love (my brother, Rayane Rn deserves the credit for this one ๐Ÿฅฐ)

The best part? We enjoy them fresh right after picking, share them with our guests around the table and with our extended family โค๏ธ Then my mother turns the rest into the most authentic homemade fig jam, while another portion is dried so we can enjoy it long after the season ends ๐Ÿ€

Looking at these onions, I donโ€™t just see food, but I see the beautiful chain of hands that made them possible ๐Ÿฅฐ

Harvested by my brother ra yane but way before that : m______ustapha Soulaimane Bel faqir and Adnan Ahbab helped us prepare the soil and shape the planting lines. The organic seeds travelled all the way from the UK, brought by my dear friend Rawnak, and Marjo planted them months ago ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ™

Susan Paton and her family visited us at Green Akal for the very first time, yet they arrived with a gift for us all the way from home ๐Ÿฅฐ

The fact that they thought of us before we had even met is something my family and I really appreciate ๐Ÿ˜

I personally never thought of Scotland as a travel destination, but after hosting many beautiful Scottish souls over the past months, it feels like I have a โ€œbigโ€ extended family there... and I guess Iโ€™ll have to visit someday ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟโค๏ธ

Some glimpses of our Farm Cooking Experience at Green Akal ๐ŸŒฟ

This lovely three-generation family from the USA ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ joined us for a Moroccan cooking experience to celebrate the grandmother's birthday ๐ŸŽ‰โค๏ธ It was a day filled with sharing stories, connecting with one another while preparing a homemade meal together, feeding the animals, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of our farm.

Our family was truly happy to host such beautiful souls, and it was incredibly heartwarming to hear the grandmother say : "This is the best experience ever" โค๏ธ

Honestly, what more could we ask for than moments like these?

Feeling truly blessed ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿ™
