Phonics ကို ဘယ်လိုကလေးတွေ အဓိက လိုမလဲ။
တကယ်က ကလေးတိုင်း သင်ယူဖို့လိုပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဘယ်ကလေးတွေအတွက် ပိုပီး လိုမလဲ ဆိုတာလေးကို စဉ်းစားထားတာပါ။
"မလိုဆုံး"က စပါမယ်။
၁။ထူးထွေသင်ဖို့ ထပ်တိုးသင်ဖို့ မလိုတာကတော့ International School က ကလေးတွေပါ။ ဘာလို့လဲဆိုတော့ IS အများစုရဲ့ သင်ရိုးမှာ ပါပီး ဖြစ်လို့ပါပဲ။ ပါတဲ့ပုံစံက mini lessons အနေနဲ့ပါ။ heavy phonics တော့ မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ ဒီ့အတွက် တချို့ IS ကျောင်းများက လိုအပ်တယ်လို့ ထင်တဲ့အခါ သူ့ကျောင်းမှာပဲ ထပ်တိုး Jolly Phonics သင်ကြတာမျိုးရှိပါတယ်။ ဒီကလေးများအတွက် Phonics ထိရောက်မှုက ပိုမြင်သာပါတယ်။ အကြောင်းက နှုတ်ပြောဝေါဟာရ(Oral Vocabs) ကောင်းကောင်း ရှိနေလို့ပါပဲ။
၂။ နောက် ဝန်ထုပ်ဝန်ပိုးတခုအနေနဲ့ မလိုတာကတော့ Homeschooling လုပ်တဲ့ ကလေးများ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါကတော့ အရေအတွက် အတော်နည်းနေပါသေးတယ်။ ဒီကလေးတွေဟာ Formal Education System အရသွားမှာ မဟုတ်တဲ့အတွက် Learning to Read stage ကနေ Reading to Learn ကူးပြောင်းတာမှာ အချိန်အကန့်အသတ်မရှိတဲ့အတွက် အထူးစိုးရိမ်စရာ မရှိပါဘူး။ သင်ဖို့ မလိုဘူးလို့ပြောတာ မဟုတ်ပါ။ ဖိအားနည်းနည်းနဲ့ အေးဆေးသင်လို့ရတာကိုပြောတာပါ။
၃။ ထပ်ပီး Private School က ကလေးငယ်များအတွက်ဆိုရင်တော့ PS အများစုက အပိုဘာသာအနေနဲ့ Phonics ကို ထည့်သွင်းသင်ကြတဲ့ကျောင်းများပါတယ်။ ဒါကလဲ လက်ရှိအနေအထားအရ PS ‌ေ‌တွရဲ့ မားကတ်တင်းတခုပေါ့။
၄။ နောက်ဆုံးပိတ် အိတ်နဲ့လွယ် ဆိုသလို အစိုးရကျောင်းများမှာတော့ phonics သက်သက်ကိုသင်ဖို့ အချိန်မရှိပါဘူး။ သင်ရိုးထဲလဲ မပါပါဘူး။ ဒီ့အတွက် အစိုးရကျောင်းများက ကလေးများအတွက် ပိုလိုအပ်မယ်လို့ ထင်မိပါတယ်။
