🌽 M401 FARMERS FIELD DAY - CHEZI, DOWA DISTRICT 🌽

ETG Inputs Ltd successfully conducted a Farmers Field Day at Chezi, Group Village Chidothi, Mvera EPA in Dowa District on 08 May 2026.

The event brought together 175 farmers, 6 Group Village Heads, the Mvera EPA AEDC, and AEDOs from different sections to appreciate the outstanding performance of M401 Hybrid Maize and learn more about ETG’s full basket of agricultural solutions.

Farmers toured the demonstration plot where ETG agronomists explained the agronomic practices applied from planting to crop management. The training session later continued at Chidothi Cooperative Warehouse, focusing on seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, and Veggie OEMFF products.

One farmer was convinced by the effectiveness of Veggie Fruit OEMFF and immediately purchased a 5kg pack from the Mvera shop after the event.

The Mvera EPA AEDC commended ETG Inputs Ltd for the initiative and encouraged expansion of demonstration plots to reach more sections in the coming season.

🌱 DEDZA DISTRICT FARMERS FIELD DAY - BEMBEKE 🌱

ETG was proud to participate in the Dedza District Farmers Field Day held at Bembeke under the theme:

👉 “Promoting Sustainable Agriculture by Adopting Improved Planting Materials.”

Together with partners including Bayer, Nano Group, Ministry of Agriculture officials, and extension staff, we engaged farmers on: ✅ Proper fertilizer application
✅ Effective crop protection practices
✅ Sustainable farming methods
✅ Improved crop varieties for higher productivity and resilience

Over 500 farmers attended the event and actively participated in demonstrations, discussions, and field tours. The strong interest shown in ETG fertilizers and agrochemicals highlights the growing commitment towards smarter and more sustainable farming practices in Malawi. 🇲🇼🌾

We appreciate the support from T/A Kamenyagwaza, Dedza District Agriculture Office, and all stakeholders who made the event a success.

Farmers from Embangweni EPA and surrounding communities gathered to witness the outstanding performance of the M401 Falcon Hybrid Maize demonstration plot together with a full exhibition of ETG agricultural solutions designed to support farmers from planting to post-harvest.

🌽 FARMERS FIELD DAY - MALOVU/NAMWIRI DEMONSTRATION PLOT 🌱

ETG successfully conducted a Farmers Field Day at Malovu/Namwiri in the Mponela Region, showcasing the performance of the M601 hybrid maize variety alongside a range of agricultural solutions including fertilizers, agrochemicals, and labour-saving farm tools.

Farmers had the opportunity to tour the demonstration plot, interact with extension officers, and learn more about best agronomic practices for improved productivity. The event was attended by farmers, extension workers, and local leaders who appreciated the practical knowledge shared during the field tour.

Despite a lower turnout due to a nearby funeral, the event was interactive and impactful, with strong interest shown in the M601 variety and the mechanical seed planter.
