Up until last year, this tree gave us nothing to harvest.

This year…

it decided to surprise us.

🌳 First flowering.

🌳 First fruiting.

🌳 Potentially our first Suluk King durian harvest.

No guarantees yet.

The fruits still need to complete their journey safely to the ground.

But moments like this remind us why patience matters in farming.

Years of waiting.

Months of preparation.

And then one season changes everything.

For now, we continue to observe, learn, and be grateful.

One tree.

One season.

One step forward.

The wait is over.

The first batch of naturally ripened durians just dropped today in our orchard.

Months of flowering, fruit selection, pruning, fertilising and countless walks through the orchard have quietly led to this moment.

Every fruit in this basket carries a story of patience.

No shortcuts.

No rushing.

Just nature deciding when each fruit is ready.

This is only the beginning of the season.

Ramai orang nampak durian muda yang gugur dan fikir…

“Sayang, belum sempat masak.”

Tetapi bagi ramai keluarga di Sarawak,

itulah bahan kepada satu hidangan istimewa.

Gulai Kari Durian.

Gulai Kari Ayam Durian.

Setiap peringkat ada nilainya.

Buah yang masak dinikmati sebagai premium durian

Buah yang gugur muda p**a menjadi sebahagian daripada warisan rasa tempatan.

Different stage.

Different purpose.

Still appreciated.

Not every durian that grows in the orchard makes it to harvest.

Strong winds.

Broken branches.

And sometimes, fruits that still needed more time.

This is part of farming that most people never see.

Every season, nature reminds us that quality is never guaranteed.

It must be earned.

Some fruits are lost before they are ready.

Some branches sacrifice themselves carrying the weight of the season.

That is why we appreciate every mature fruit harvested.

Good seasons are built with patience.

And sometimes, with acceptance.

Sesetengah orang melihat durian.

Kami melihat lebih daripada itu.

Morning walks di kebun.

Cerita-cerita lama di bawah pokok.

Kenangan indah yang terus hidup dari satu generasi ke generasi seterusnya.

Kebun ini bukan sekadar tempat buah tumbuh.

Di sinilah tempat keluarga berkumpul.

Di sinilah kesabaran diuji.

Di sinilah rasa syukur sentiasa bertambah.
