Last Saturday, we gathered around ulams (herbs), knives, and lots of “eh what’s this called in English ah?” moments 🌿😆

This time with , we hosted a Nasi Ulam workshop with 10 participants — learning all about the many types of ulam that make this dish so special.

Do you know what these are? 👀
• Petai Belalang
• Tenggek Burung
• Daun Kaduk

Because honestly… we had to keep Google Translating their names between Bahasa Melayu and English too. 😆

Beyond all the chopping chopping, we also prepared meals that were later shared with the children from CWO Community School 💚

More than just a workshop — it’s a chance to cook with purpose.

Through our collaboration with the Robin Hood Army, we bring people together to learn, create, and share good food with communities who need it most. In our last session, we “berkampung” in the kitchen and prepared Korean bibimbap, which was then distributed to Myanmar refugee families.

This time, we’re going local. 🌿
Join us as we learn how to make Nasi Ulam — celebrating fresh herbs, local ingredients, and the beauty of our traditional flavours. The meals we prepare will be shared with children from CWO Community School, turning every dish into something meaningful.

We’ve officially wrapped up an incredible collaboration with under their Allianz4Good initiative!

Together, we delivered 100 fresh veggie boxes to 100 families at PPR Lembah Subang. But this wasn’t just a delivery—it was a full-on day of action! The Allianz team rolled up their sleeves to help us prep, cut, and pack every single box. The energy in the room was electric from start to finish. ✨

Through this partnership, we successfully rescued 525kg of surplus and imperfect produce, ensuring that perfectly good food ended up on dinner tables instead of in a landfill. 🌍💚

Huge thanks to the Allianz4Good team for your enthusiasm and for helping us bridge the gap between food waste and food security. 🤝
