The most important to consider is the LOCATION, before even worring about the soil. The best location to plant strawberies is a sunny place.... at least 5-7 hrs of sunlight. However please also note that Namibian sun can be hot. Therefore consider morning sun, afternnoon shade. To protect fruits from wild birds, 40% shade cover will do the job.
