Freezing is a very easy and convenient way of preserving food.
If you buy Okra/Okro in bulk and you know you wouldn't cook all at once, just chop and portion them in bags as seen in these pics, then freeze.

Be sure you have uninterrupted power supply because they are to remain frozen until you are ready to use them. That way, they are fresh and nutrients intact.
Do not defrost before cooking, once out of the freezer, straight to the pot. Remember, do not overcook your Okra/okro.
