We call on the Government of Kebbi State with a loud voice filled with anger and disappointment. We are the ones who entrusted you with our votes. We stood in line under the scorching sun and elected you with hope and expectation. But after the election was concluded, you turned your backs on us and treated us as if we had never existed. This is a grave mistake and pure betrayal.
During the campaign period, there was no oath or promise you did not make. You swore that you would provide electricity, clean water, employment opportunities, road repairs, and an improved standard of living. But today, the truth is clear—there is no electricity, no water, no jobs, the roads are damaged, life has become difficult, and there is no quality education.
We have submitted complaints many times, but there has been silence, and the cries of the common people have been ignored.
Is this the government we voted for? Is this how you repay the trust placed in you? Know that the common people do not forget, and a cry for justice does not disappear. If you continue to look down on the people and treat leadership as spoils of war, history will record your name in black ink of shame.
Leadership is a trust, not a personal possession. Allah, the Most Just, is aware of everything, and the Day of Judgment does not require lies or campaign oaths.
Strive and fulfill your promises.
