"Allot of Nigerian women depend only on their men to provide everything for them it’s very hard as a youth in Nigeria dating while still hustling because the little money you make will not even be enough for the woman you’re dating…it’s very sad our women have loose their value men don’t value them anymore because most of them are not industrious like women from other countries like Cameroon, Ghana and South Africa….I don’t think I’ll ever date a Nigerian woman again because they don’t give you ideas or share visions with you on how you can make money but all they can do is depend on you the man."

We have all been involved in an argument at some point in our lives. In my younger years, I had a far worse temper than I do now, and I would not always filter my words in the most appropriate manner. I remember one argument vividly: in a discussion with my father, I implied that he was not a true believer of Christ because he did not devote his entire life to it. He went to church and raised me as well as a man possibly could, and here I was, young, passionate, but naïve, slandering the man who raised me. We had an argument, mainly because I thought I was right at the time. Luckily for me, my father is a very patient man, and he listened to my words even though they surely hurt him, and a few days later he gave me a book, Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis. Reading it changed my opinion on Christianity and, of course, my father.

The word of God and those recorded by the Apostles are the most sacred texts available to us, but our interpretation of these texts may differ. For many, these texts represent the sanctity and bond between us and the Lord. However, for others they may not have made an impact and may never make an impact. Even the Disciples of Christ had their doubts, and to selfishly attempt to impose our own beliefs on another person when they may not be ready is not for us to decide. The choice is God's. As believers of Christ, we are not meant for this world, as the verses suggest. We know that we are called to something higher. Literally taken, the words of our Holy Bible are no different from any other book. How these words are used, habitually, practically, and personally, by each and every Christian is what separates it. We are not meant for this world: it is our duty to emulate and do what came so innately to Christ; to make this word flesh, to sanctify it to the heights of Heaven.

Life moves fast these days, and so often it is hard to simply comprehend how fortune we are, for our health, friends or family etc. It is hard perhaps to do this, seeing as so often these immeasurable or intangible goods, these gifts from the Lord are so often squandered or easily quantified into comparing it with others. Nothing ultimately, is to be purchased from feelings of superiority or feeling one satisfied with oneself since others may not have been so fortunate. Truly valuing God's gifts requires appreciating things for themselves, for their own intrinsic goodness and benefit, not in how they might compare to others. For in doing the latter, we in fact close our hearts and eyes to truly appreciating what is most valuable to us.

💚 Good Morning Fans

Best advice I can give anybody right now is to make sure you got your own and always do what's best for you. This a cold world we living in. Families ain't family no more and friends ain't friends. Everybody scream real until it's actually time to show it. So get your own and pray you never get in the position to where you have to depend on nobody. People will fail you over and over but your faith will get you there every time🔥.

“ Nobody on the entire earth wants to see you succeed more than them except your parents . At one point friends get jealous “ Jim Iyke

“The only person that wants to see you succeed more than them on this earth is not your best friend , not your colleagues , not your brothers , not anyone except your parents . People get jealous at one point that’s why it is important not to talk about everything to everyone. Keep somethings to yourself “🔚

So it is only our parents that really wanted us to succeed above them? I think I agree with him 100%. One of my follower said he sent to his senior brother in Lagos to rent a shop so that they could start a business. The following day, his phone number went off for a week after which he switched on his phone. When he called him, he told his younger brother that he used the money to do something else.

Someone chatted me inbox. He is from the family of the wife of a banker ( both are late) and they were both multi-billionaires. His sister, the wife to the billionaire banker has the opportunity to uplift everyone in her family out of poverty but she did nothing until death took her and her husband away.

In the village, if your children are doing well, your fellow mothers are likely to become your enemies. This is not common among the fathers but especially the mothers. Most of our boys doing boi boi in Alaba are there courtesy of the good relationship existing between the father of their boss and their own father, both living in the village.

Believe me, I have sometimes wished a friend of mine who went abroad for greener pasture to succeed. We are not related in anyway. I do pray for him in those days and God answered my prayer over him even though he later look the other way.

So it is really strange to me when Jim Iyke said that ONLY my MOTHER and FATHER would want me to succeed above them. So you mean my blood brother can actually NOT want me to succeed above him? Why? So you mean my wife would actually NOT want.

CAN YOU IMAGINE!

My wife called me John instead of the usual sweet pet names.

Me: How dare you address me by my first name? You don't have respect for elders again ba? 🙄🙄🙄

Wify: Is John not your name again?

Me: You're still repeating it. You must pack your things and leave my house today today! I won't tolerate this disrespect from you.

Wify: Haaa, sh**un l'aiye ni? someone cannot play with you?

Me: Angrily walked away
🚶🚶🚶🚶🚶

Few hours later, heavy rain started falling, see cold everywhere, I tried to drink hot tea and cover myself with duvet, but this stubborn cold just won't go.

Later in the night...

I started using my leg to hit my wife anyhow to get some attention.

Wify: While still sleeping, facing the other side, she angrily said "John is that you?"

Me: in a low tone "Yes my love"

Wify turned and faced me and was like...

Wify: Ehen oga, sebi you asked me to pack my things and leave your house because I called you John in the afternoon? Oya, I'm ready to go.

Me: Forgive me my love, I did not know what I was doing...omodé ló'n semí. Omode o le mo eko je koma ra lowo (Na small pikin dey worry me).

Wify: Ehen, are you sure?

Me: Yes now! See ehh, feel free to d!srespect me, you can even ask me to bark like a bingo...whoo! Whatever you do is a goal.

Wifey now smiling....

Wifey: Johnny, Johnny

Me: Yes mama

Wifey: Johnny Bobo

Me: Yes baby

Wifey: Oya go and off the light.

Me: 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️

NB: No be say I no know my right oo, just that I love peace, and they taught us in church to live peacefully with our wives. This shows that I'm a good Christian brother😁😁😁
