In year 2024, we meticulously kept records of all our transactions, customer details, and purchase frequencies.
We tracked consistent customers who regularly patronized Funky Foods, as well as those who made sporadic purchases.

During the festive period, we decided to show appreciation to our loyal and consistent customers by giving them small gifts as a token of gratitude.

However, some inconsistent customers who did not meet the criteria for appreciation gifts also requested them, unaware that wr had a well-maintained record that clearly distinguished between consistent and sporadic patrons.

Our organized record-keeping system gave us the confidence to explain the selection criteria and maintain fairness. It also highlighted the importance of consistent patronage, which may motivate irregular customers to become more consistent in the future.

This experience underscores the value of keeping accurate records not just for financial management but also for maintaining positive customer relationships and handling situations diplomatically.
