COURTESY VISIT TO THE BORNO STATE COMMISSIONER FOR ENVIRONMENT

Today, the Borno Green Growers Association (BOGGA) a conglomerate of commercial horticulturists across Borno State paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Commissioner for Environment Engr. Muhammad Habib. The delegation was led by the Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr.Usman Ali Busuguma .

The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the Honourable Commissioner on his well-deserved appointment, express our loyalty and commitment to supporting the ministry’s environmental development agenda, and to seek partnership in securing new spaces for our members within the metropolitan area to enhance horticultural activities.

In his response, the Honourable Commissioner appreciated the association’s initiative and pledged his full support. He assured the delegation that all available vacant spaces suitable for horticulture will be allocated to genuine horticulturists, reaffirming the ministry’s commitment to promoting a greener and more sustainable Borno State.

We look forward to a productive collaboration that will further strengthen environmental beautification, economic empowerment, and sustainable urban.
