Here's the first part:

*Day 1: The Memory*

Lyra's eyes fluttered open, and she was hit with the familiar sensation of someone else's memories flooding her mind. She winced, rubbing her temples as she tried to sort through the fragmented images. A little girl playing on a swing, laughing as her father pushed her high into the air. A warm summer breeze rustling through trees. A sense of pure joy.

But the memory wasn't hers. It belonged to someone else, someone she'd touched recently. Lyra's mind was a jumble of other people's memories, each one threatening to overwhelm her.

She sat up, swinging her legs over the side of the bed. Her small apartment was cluttered with books, candles, and strange trinkets she'd collected over the years. Lyra's gaze landed on a small, leather-bound journal on her nightstand. She scribbled down a few notes about the memory, trying to pinpoint who it belonged to.

As she wrote, Lyra's mind wandered back to the memory. Whose was it? And why had it been so vivid?
