I am saying it again, if you are not expecting m0ney from anyone and you suddenly receive m0ney in your acc0unt, don't t@mper with that m0ney.
If a str@nger calls you on phone and tells you that he/she m!staken|y sent you m0ney and b£gs you to send it back into an acc0unt he/she will provide you, please, don't s£nd the m0ney back if it's not the same acc0unt number that sent you the m0ney.
Some will ent!ce you by saying you should take like ₦100,000 from the m0ney for the inc0nveniences and send back the rest.
If you sp£nd the m0ney or s£nd it to a different acc0unt, you might l@nd yourself in tr0ub|e if the m0ney is from a fr@udst£r and your acc0unt was h@cked to move the m0ney.
When that fraudul£nt tr@nsact!on is being inv£stig@ted, it will be tr@ced to your acc0unt and you will be arr£sted for it.
If you don't know, people walk into the bank and get arr£sted because their acc0unts have been reported.
If you receive such m0ney, quickly do the following:
📍Copy out your b@nk's off!cial email address and send an email to report the al£rt. In the email, tell them you received an unexp£cted m0ney and that they should rev£rse it back to the sender because you don't know how it came about.
📍Print out the email and visit the nearest b@nk branch to report it at the counter. The bank will reverse the m0ney.
📍If the trans@ction had been rep0rted to the police and the b@nk notified, once you come to the bank to do any trans@ction, they will see it that the owner of the acc0unt is wanted.
The bank will just d£lay you until the police arrive to arr£st you. But once you are with the email printout and you are told you are being arr£sted for a fr@udu|ent trans@ction on your acc0unt, your def£nse that you are not part of it will s@ve you because you had sent an email to the bank reporting it.
📍In a case where you are called by someone who claims to be the owner of the m0ney to send it back, when sending it to the exact acc0unt that sent you the m0ney, put a description like "Reversal of unknown m0ney" .
📍If you cannot tell whether the acc0unt number the person sent to you is the same as the acc0unt number that sent it, call your b@nk to confirm the acc0unt number or instruct your b@nk to do the rev£rsal.
Don't rejoice that you have received manna from above because sp£nding that m0ney can c0st you your fr££dom and you will be made to pay back the m0ney for possible exch@nge of your fr££dom.
