A Day I Won’t Forget – Honey, Evangelism, and a 70-Year-Old Visionary
Today, something truly remarkable happened.
An elderly man, about 70 years old and a pensioner, was out doing what he calls his “Friday assignment” — evangelism. After walking a bit and sharing the Gospel, he decided to rest near my area. As he sat, he noticed a banner advertising my honey. Curious, he called the number on the banner — little did he know, that banner was just beside my house.
I answered the call and stepped out to meet him. From the moment we started talking, I could tell this wasn’t going to be an ordinary conversation. He was full of wisdom, words, and life experiences — you know how our elders are, full of questions and stories. I listened with patience and joy.
He asked about the honey — how it’s made, where it’s from, if it’s truly original. I answered every question truthfully, and he appreciated that I gave him my time.
Then something beautiful happened — he shared the Gospel with me. Yes, even while he was inquiring about honey, he stayed true to his mission: spreading the Word of God.
Eventually, he bought a small bottle of honey. And then he said something that struck me deep:
> “If this honey is truly original, I will venture into this business. Every Friday, as I go out for evangelism, I will take 10 bottles with me. I’ll aim to preach to 20 people and sell to at least 10.”
I was speechless.
Here was a man, retired, in his 70s, still full of purpose and drive — not just to preach, but to work with something real, something natural, something honest. My honey.
He left with his first bottle… and this was his order.
My God.
Now tell me — if an old man like that comes to you and says,
“This is original,”
Wouldn’t you trust him? Wouldn’t you buy?
This, right here, is the kind of partnership money can’t buy — a divine connection, fueled by purpose and purity.
