Turmeric powder for Tooth gum

Spices are not just for cooking, teas and organic production. Many of them can serve as a homemade remedy or first aid.

I had swollen tooth gum on both sides of my mouth. You know that type you'd wake up to a swollen face and then it intensifies. You can't even attempt to chew anything.

Tooth gum ache isn't something new to me but for the longest, I haven't felt one. Before, my first step would be rushing to a pharmacy for drugs. Much later I switched to natural (ginger).

Turmeric is one powerful spice for tooth gum swelling. It is not even as harsh as ginger yet more powerful than ginger for tooth gum swelling.

Contains a stronger anti-inflammatory property compared to ginger.

It's mild on your gum unlike ginger which may be hot. In fact, you'd barely feel tumeric being on your gum. It does its work gently. No loud announcement.

Stronger antibacterial.

How to use it?

Get your turmeric powder, scoop a spoonful and mix with normal water to form a paste. Apply on the swollen gum and allow it to sit for 5 to 10mins. Rinse your mouth. You can repeat it twice a day.

When I say spices shouldn't be missing in your kitchen, I know what I'm talking about. They come in handy even in the middle of the night where pharmacy and drugstores may not be reachable.

This is a simple step on how to make tomato powder using the sun-drying method. If you have a dehydrator, you can use it for a faster process.

I sun-dried for 7days (you could do less)

This was 1k worth of tomatoes. I got a small plate of tomato powder.

Tomato is in season. This is just one way you can preserve and save yourself the health-risk of using packaged tomatoes paste.
