We were all wondering the same thing…
Where is Jay?

Not at Gastrovino.
Not behind the wine shelves.
Not opening bottles.
Not giving Pippe unsolicited wine advice.

Then suddenly…
there he was.
In a lake.
On holiday.

Still somehow talking about the Gastrovino Wijnmarkt.
And fair enough, because on Sunday 7 June we’re back with over 60 open wines, food from our stands and Mercato, music, sommeliers to guide you, and this year also Tres Pilares, joining us with their winemakers!

So yes, Jay may be on holiday.
But the Wijnmarkt is clearly still on his mind 🍾🍾

Our new wine card is on its way, with even more beautiful bottles, new discoveries and dangerous favourites by the glass.

A glass of wine turns into two, someone orders cocktails, the table slowly fills up with bites… and suddenly your “quick drink” became the whole evening.

Our borrel menu is waiting for you at Gastrovino Scheveningen - packed with dishes made for sharing, good conversations and staying longer than planned.

Including this beauty of a prosciutto, because honestly… how could you not order it?

The countdown to our Wijnmarkt on June 7th has officially started, and behind the scenes the preparation list keeps getting longer… wines to open, tables to set, glasses to polish, bottles to choose, music to organise.. But trust us: it’s going to be worth it.

Join us on Sunday June 7th from 12:00 until 17:00 at Gastrovino Scheveningen for an afternoon filled with more than 60 open wines, sommeliers guiding you through every glass, refined bites, live music and the atmosphere that makes this one of our favourite days of the year!

Tickets are €24,95 p.p. including the wine tasting and delicious food can be ordered separately from our kitchen and Mercato.

Mothers deserve more than flowers.
They deserve a table full of good food, a bottle opened “just because”, stories that get repeated every year, and a lunch that slowly turns into dinner.

Today at we celebrate all the mothers, bonus moms, grandmothers, and women who somehow hold everything together!

Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours.

Yes, Jay and Pippe are officially in their sailing era.
From 12 until 25 May, we are serving our REGATTA Menu for all sailing lovers, alongside our regular menu.

And for everyone setting sail, our Mercato is ready too: beautiful cheeses, Italian delicacies, fresh pinsa’s and charcuterie to bring on board - the kind of provisions that make any boat trip taste a little better.
