Which one are you?

The snacker grazing every stall before deciding. The connoisseur who's got strong opinions on the best produce in the village. The one who says they don't need anything but somehow leaves with a full bag anyway.

Whoever you are, come on down and find your people (and your favourite stall) at the market this Saturday.

🌿 Jan’s Kiwi Art…

Jan Stockton and her husband Phil design and create the most wonderful collection of Kiwiana home art, handmade right here inspired by nature, the ocean and all things Kiwi. 🇳🇿

I’m particularly drawn to Jan’s beautiful manta rays and blue whales. Using resin and beautiful marbling effects, each piece is unique.

But there is so much more to discover — Kererū, New Zealand topographical islands, and Phil’s fabulous breadboards handcrafted from recycled rimu.

Come and find Jan’s Kiwi Art inside the War Memorial Building each week.

Made and Inspired by New Zealand, with talent, imagination.

Orchard Valley Farms are a family run free-range egg farm based in Maramarua. Abbie and Shane farm ethically - their simple belief is that animals deserve a good life and happy hens make better eggs. They have 6000 hens roaming their pastures freely. Their eggs are hormone and antibiotic free. Their hens are nourished by the sun, and when they lay the eggs are collected and delivered fresh to our Market. There are no long storage time. Just the freshest eggs, as nature intended.
are at our Market each week rain or shine situated in 'Deli Alley' outside Marbled.

There’s something wonderfully nostalgic about a tiki — but behind it lies a much deeper story of tradition, connection and craftsmanship. 💚

Our talented Howick Village Market pounamu carver, Chris, is carving 100 Tiki in 100 Days!
Hei tiki are treasured forms in Māori culture, traditionally carved from pounamu and associated with whakapapa, tūpuna, connection and protection. Each is unique, shaped not only by the hands of the carver, but by the individual piece of stone.
For many of us, there’s also a wonderful nostalgia attached to the tiki — something instantly recognisable that has been part of Aotearoa's story.
We love following Chris's carving — 100 days, 100 individual tiki and a huge amount of skill, patience and dedication.
And how lucky are we to have craftspeople like Chris right here at the Howick Village Market. 💚

Keep going, Chris — we’ll be watching the 100 take shape!
