We’ve got an awesome lineup of local makers ready to go — and with the Supercars fan trail happening in town, it’s shaping up to be a busy, vibrant day in Ōtautahi.

The Local Edit was on Saturday and what a vibe it turned out to be ✨
Sun was out, Cashel Street was buzzing, and the space was filled with incredible local makers doing what they do best.

From handmade homewares to sweet treats, jewellery, art, candles and everything in between — this is exactly why we love creating these pop-up days in the city.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down, supported local, had a chat, bought something special, or just stopped in to see what was happening.
And of course to our amazing stallholders who bring the energy every single time 💛

The Local Edit is all about keeping creativity visible in the city — and Saturday was a perfect reminder of why that matters.

See you at the next one 👀

🍪✨ Introducing Wooden Spoon Biscuits — stuffed cookie heaven is coming to The Local Edit ✨🍪

Get ready… because Wooden Spoon Biscuits are bringing their famous stuffed cookies to The Local Edit, and they are every bit as good as they look.

These aren’t your average cookies —
we’re talking thick, gooey, flavour-packed cookies filled with delicious centres and baked to perfection. Crispy on the outside, soft in the middle, and seriously hard to resist.

Perfect for a market treat, sharing with friends… or keeping all to yourself (we won’t judge).

If you’ve tried them before, you already know.
If you haven’t — this is your sign.

🍯✨ Introducing Undisturbed Meadery — coming to The Local Edit ✨🍯

We’re excited to welcome Undisturbed Meadery to the next Local Edit — crafting beautiful, small-batch mead right here in New Zealand using some of the finest honey in the world.

Their goal is simple —
to create smooth, flavoursome meads with no added chemicals, made with a strong commitment to sustainability, wellness, and a drinking experience that feels as good as it tastes.

Undisturbed was founded on the idea that we shouldn’t have to sacrifice lifestyle for sustainability.
Mead is naturally one of the most environmentally friendly drinks you can make, supporting bee populations and biological health through pollination — making every sip a little kinder to the planet.

Thoughtful. Sustainable. Uncomplicated.
Just the way it should be.

🧀✨ New at The Local Edit — Koe Bread ✨🧀

We’re excited to welcome Koe Bread to our next Local Edit!

Bringing something a little different (and very delicious), Koe Bread makes traditional Brazilian cheese bread — pão de queijo.
These bite-sized cheesy snacks are naturally gluten-free, made with tapioca flour and cheese, giving them their signature crispy outside and soft, chewy centre.

They’re warm, comforting, and seriously addictive — once you try one, it’s hard to stop at just one.

Perfect for a market snack while you wander, or to take home and enjoy later.
