If you missed out on visiting us this season or you just didn't manage to pick enough for your freezer, then not to worry!

We have 2 freezers stocked with 1kg bags of frozen blueberries available to be collected.

These are our usual premium, organic blueberries picked fresh in January/February, sorted to make using them nice and easy and then straight to the freezer.

There are no seconds around here. Blueberries are super easy to use from frozen as they free flow straight from the bag like peas - no clumping together.

Beautiful in baking, smoothies, yogurt, sauce for porridge, whatever you desire. Full of flavor and goodness πŸ’•

Order by sending us an email or text with the quantity you would like and we can organize a time for you to collect them.

Season 2026 has come to a close.

In the past couple of weeks, we have already seen the leaves on the bushes begin to turn their beautiful scarlet colour, confused by the seasons with the inconsistent weather.

The rain fell at the start of the season and we were hopeful. Hopeful and grateful. We rely on some rain for plump, juicy blueberries. It continued to fall, bringing uncertainty and doubt as to what the season would bring.

We quickly realized we could no longer plan for PYO based on the best weather that week, and we worried how it would affect the quality of our market supply.

Each week went by and more rain fell. The sun shone randomly throughout but just as we felt life was drying out, it rained again.

So PYO went on and we, no doubt, quickly became one of the best outdoor rainy day activities in Dunedin. Everyone was positive and happy to be there, some even going as far as saying they love picking in the rain.Β

As it turns out, blueberries are such a powerful superfood, that they can even withstand the element of rain that could cause devastation to some.

And with that, it is because of all of you, that we do what we do. Our little business wouldn't be what it is without you.
Whether you come to our stall at the farmers market, pick numerous kilos or 1 kilo at PYO, or support us by choosing to buy our blueberries instead of the ones at the supermarket market, we appreciate you.

We genuinely enjoy seeing all our loyal regulars year after year, as well as, meeting those who have come for the first time.

A gorgeous couple said this season, our Orchard and PYO is such a special place for them. It coincides with important events in their life and for alot of similar reasons, it has become a tradition for many, year after year. We are honored that our beautiful corner of Fairfield can be that place for so many during the season.

We have stocked our freezers with premium grade blueberries which will be available throughout the year until sold out.

All the best for the year ahead. We look forward to seeing you on the other side, to do it all again.

One of this seasons many highlights, has been seeing our blueberries sitting pretty on these stunning lammingtons as well as scattered across the waffles.

A couple of weekends ago we took a little trip down the peninsula to and as usual, it didn't disappoint.

Augustines farmstore and kitchen is a little, local gem, hidden among the bush behind the Portobello township. Its peaceful and quiet, the perfect place for a coffee and a delicious bite to eat, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The menu is thoughtfully crafted to place emphasis on quality, using local, premium ingredients where able.

Although, our blueberries are only on the menu for a short time, there are other dishes to be explored, often changing, as our seasons shift.

Its always a pleasure working with Gus and Jana, each season...and yes, the lammingtons do taste as good as they look 🫐
