We will close the orchard for the season tomorrow. Thankyou to everybody who supported us this season. We still have some small fruit which are available to pick till 4pm tomorrow.

Just a reminder to everybody that there will not be a PYO season this year as almost all of our fruit was lost in the frost back in october. Hopefully next year we will be back to normal.

We are putting limes, feijoas and figs at the stall out by the road. $5 per bag just a few at this stage as they are just starting.. There will not be a PYO season this year as the persimmon crop was 99% destroyed by the October 6th frost.

The PYO is now closed for the season. There is a little bit of fruit and we will be stripping the trees and putting it at the gate over the next few days. Thankyou to everybody who has supported us this season. See you next year we plan to open 1st May next year.

Our first day for pick your own will be Sunday 1st of May. From then we will be open everyday 8am till 4 pm till all the fruit is gone . We will have plastic bags available for your use but you are welcome to bring your own reusable bags. If you like tidy fruit picked and trimmed with nippers please bring your own tools. We have picking sticks which are good for picking high fruit, for you to borrow. The price for PYO will be $3.50 per kg. 436 Tauwhare Rd Matangi .

Sadly so much damage was done to the trees yesterday during the pick your own, that we are closing the orchard today to clean up.

The PYO season is now over. We are starting to strip what is left of the fruit on the trees in preparation for pruning the trees. It will be put in the stall at the gate as it is picked and ripened.

We have picked pretty much all the fruit that is ripe . So will close the orchard for the weekend to let the fruit ripen a bit more . We will take orders again on Monday. You will still have to pay on line if you would like your order sent. But we have paywave operating now , so text you order through to 0274858761 and you can pay when you pick it up.

Wednesday will be the last day for pick your own fruit. Lynley and I are in the process of strip picking what is left so if you dont have time to pick we have some in the shed , it is only small fruit but we have sorted so that the most of marked fruit has been removed.

Really disappointed to find that there are some dishonest people in our community . Our honesty box at the road frontage had had produce taken without being paid for . If it continues then we will have to stop putting it out there .
