Shop for a wide range of fresh vegetables, fruit, meat, bread, eggs, pickles and preserves straight from the producer. First opened October 2000, we are one of New Zealand’s largest and longest running Farmers’ Markets, offering a complete shopping experience, every Sunday of the year. Thousands of

locals and busloads of visitors soak up the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of a traditional market. Shop for the ingredients to make a delicious, regionally produced meal while you savour hot freshly roasted local coffee and a choice of breakfast fare while the senses take in the live music, the smells of cooking and the produce so fresh it looks straight back at you. Meet the grower, producer or maker and talk with them about their products. See touch, smell and taste the goods, then buy knowing that they are fresh from the source. ATM and Info stall are available at the centre of the market.

Welcome Olden Day Pickles!

Olden Day Pickles brings back the taste of proper home preserving - just like your Nan used to make. From tangy pickled onions bursting with flavour and crunch, to earthy beetroot with the perfect balance of sweet and sour and a funky cinnamon twist, plus classic crisp gherkins.

🌸 Spring has arrived, and we’re heading back to the Waikoko Gardens! 🌸

This Sunday, you’ll find us back in the beautiful Waikoko Gardens at the Tōmoana Showgrounds. All your favourite stallholders will be there, along with a few new faces to discover!

Come join us for a stunning spring morning at the market - shop fresh, support local and enjoy a Sunday morning in the gardens.

🛻 There’s a bit of work happening along Kenilworth Road, but don’t let that stop you! You can still access the market via Gate 2 and Gate 3 on Kenilworth Road.

🌿 Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ Market is open! ☀️

The sun’s out, Nick Herbison is on the tunes and there’s plenty of good local produce to enjoy this morning. Come down, have a wander, grab a coffee, do your shopping and treat yourself.

Just a quick heads up 🚘 there are some construction works happening along Kenilworth Road, but don’t let that put you off!

Head to Gate 2 on Kenilworth Road and follow the drive straight up to the market. There are traffic lights currently in place to manage traffic.

When you’re heading home, please follow the exit signs - today the exit is onto Elwood Road.

We’ve got a helper stationed by the exit turnoff to help guide you out. If you get stuck, he’ll be happy to help!

This Sunday, the Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market is proud to welcome the Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) back for their final market day!

With 90+ student-run businesses joining us, this is one of our biggest markets of the year. Come along and support local rangatahi as they showcase their ideas, products and entrepreneurial spirit in a real market environment.

Alongside the YES teams, you'll still find all your favourite regular market stalls, so you can do your weekly shop, discover something new and support the next generation of Hawke's Bay business owners.

We're sad to be saying goodbye to Urban Smokery, as this Sunday marks their final Hawke's Bay Farmers' Market.

After five wonderful years at the market, new opportunities have opened up for the team, and it's time for them to start a new chapter.

A huge thank you to Urban Smokery for being such a valued part of our market. We'll miss seeing you every Sunday and wish you all the very best for what's next.

If you've been meaning to stock up on your favourites or simply want to say goodbye, make sure you come down this Sunday!
