locals and busloads of visitors soak up the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of a traditional market. Shop for the ingredients to make a delicious, regionally produced meal while you savour hot freshly roasted local coffee and a choice of breakfast fare while the senses take in the live music, the smells of cooking and the produce so fresh it looks straight back at you. Meet the grower, producer or maker and talk with them about their products. See touch, smell and taste the goods, then buy knowing that they are fresh from the source. ATM and Info stall are available at the centre of the market.

This Sunday will be Gina’s last market with us 😢

We’ve been so lucky to have Gina’s as part of the HBFM family for the past three years. They’ve become such a loved part of the market, and we know many of you will be just as sad to see them go.

With a few changes coming up, Gina’s will be finishing up at the market. Thank you for being such an incredible part of the team and for all the amazing food, smiles, and support over the years.

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that one of our local producers, Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay has swept a fantastic collection of awards at the Outstanding Food Producer Awards and the NZ Champions of Cheese Awards 2026!

For the second year in a row, Hōhepa Hawke’s Bay has also been named BYD Auto New Zealand Sustainability Champion. A combination that truly is “hard to beat.”

This success is a beautiful reflection of the care, skill, and dedication that flows from the land and the herd, right through to the hands that craft every cheese with legacy and intention. It’s a true celebration of community, purposeful work, and exceptional quality.

We had an awesome night at the Outstanding Food Producer Awards Champion Party, where the winner of the Coast Kiwi Favourite Farmers Market was announced - and we’re so excited to have taken out the win!
