🍪 STALLHOLDER SPOTLIGHT 🍪

A little moment of indulgence, made to savour 😋

Born in Queenstown, Sweet Escape is an artisan cookie brand by Chef Peita Fleming, created with the belief that food should feel as good as it tastes.

Each cookie is crafted in small batches, blending creativity with indulgence - where familiar flavours meet unexpected twists. Thoughtful, delicious, and just a little bit special.
Because it’s not just a cookie… it’s a moment of escape ✨

We’re excited to welcome Peita to our market, so be sure to stop by and treat yourself, we can tell ya first hand how good these are!

🦡 🦊 STALLHOLDER SPOTLIGHT 🦊 🦡

Fox & Badger began its journey in Luggate around six years ago, with a simple philosophy - focus on quality over quantity. Since then, they’ve been creating thoughtful, flavourful seasonal street food using sustainably sourced and local ingredients wherever possible whilst catering for plant-based and gluten-free diets 🌱

At the heart of what they do is a love for real food and the connections it creates, bringing people together over something genuinely delicious - a perfect addition to the Upper Clutha Farmers Market don’t ya think?!

🇫🇷 STALLHOLDER SPOTLIGHT 🇫🇷

Bringing a taste of traditional French charcuterie to our market!

Foster the Craft is a small-batch pâté and sausage company based on Luggate–Tarras Road, built on a passion for quality and craftsmanship. With roots in the former Akaroa Butchery & Deli, Brendan’s journey includes training alongside a French butcher specialising in charcuterie - a skillset that shines through in every product.

Their range is proudly French-inspired, with standout creations like their award-winning Boudin Noir (black pudding), which took out Supreme Sausage of the Year 🏆

Now sharing their expertise with the Central Otago community, Foster the Craft is all about rich flavours, time-honoured techniques, and seriously good sausages!

Make sure to stop by their stall at our market next Sunday and discover something special!

🍓 STALLHOLDER SPOTLIGHT 🍓

At Fairfolk Collective, it’s all about capturing sunshine in every bite ☀️

This small-batch producer is on a mission to preserve the very best of Central Otago summers by freeze drying locally grown fruit. By working directly with growers, they ensure every piece of fruit is packed with flavour, while supporting the people who grow it.

The result? Delicious, vibrant fruit you can enjoy all year round… because good fruit shouldn’t be limited to one season 🍒

Pop by their stall on April 12th and stock up on a little slice of summer, the perfect addition to fuel your mountain adventures all winter long!

Another Upper Clutha Farmers Market done and dusted ✅ Our next market is Sunday 12th April, 9am–1pm 🍎

A huge thank you to the Luggate Community Association for their ongoing support in helping us run these markets, and to the wonderful musicians for filling the reserve with beautiful live music 🎶

It was epic to have the Luggate Volunteer Fire Brigade join us - such a great opportunity to connect with the incredible people in our community who give up countless hours to keep us safe. Thank you 🙌

We also loved having Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) and Summerdaze along, giving our tamariki opportunities to play while locals had the chance to connect with elected councillors 🤗

Join us for the final market of the season -let’s make it a good one 💛

With just a few days to go until the next Farmers Market, we’re excited to share some new offerings from our stallholders! ✨

Tineke from Taste of the Alps has been busy cooking up a storm. All of her preserves are handmade in small batches, using locally sourced fruit straight from the Alps.

Her newest release, The Sojourner 🍒, is a Sichuan-style pickled cherry preserve, and Sunday will be your very first chance to taste it.

Handpicked Central Otago cherries, pickled with Sichuan pepper, orange zest, star anise & a hint of chilli.

Come on down this Sunday and be among the first to try it! 👇
