Our beautiful pink oysters are back, along with the usual beautiful array of mushrooms!

Mushrooms are great for regulating cholesterol levels and blood pressure. They are also very high in antioxidants and a lot of minerals to protect your body against diseases. The best thing is that they are very versatile and tasty, you can incorporate them into any dish that you can think of!

Great write up in the Herald (from the Daily Telegraph) about the benefits of mushrooms!

The article says "In 2021, data from a large population study in the US revealed that people consuming the most mushrooms were likely to live longer. The study said one of the reasons for this was the beneficial nutritional composition of mushrooms: they’re low in calories, saturated fats and sodium, while rich in beneficial phytochemicals, minerals and essential vitamins."
