Henson's Gardens 🥕🥦🥔
Wilf joins us as ever with his range of vegetables including kumara, potatos, carrots, greens, broccoli and more.

Garden for Life 🥬🌱🍓
Helen’s fresh, spray-free produce includes lettuce, miner’s lettuce, mizuna, salad mustard, parsley, perpetual spinach, blood sorrel, endive, lemon verbena tea leaves and dried Kawakawa tea.

Her home-grown seeds are on SPECIAL again: 60 varieties of flowers and veggies FOUR PACKETS for $2, and new seasons packets at $2 each.

You’ll also find a range of Helen's plants at her Garden for Life stall: grape vines, sprouted garlic, aloe vera, dragonfruit plants, catmint, black mondo grass, red alpine strawberries, and perpetual spinach seedlings. Copies of Helen’s memoir are still available.

Garden for Life will also have lemons from Margaret, whole walnuts from Dave, wonder weeders from David and Alma, whole and shelled hazel nuts from Rick, bokashi refills from Lydia, and Jayne’s healing calendula and kawakawa creams.

Locavore Farm's Audrey will be running the Garden for Life stall, along with a collection of her own vegetables for your grocery bag! 🥬🌿🫜

This market, on November 1st, is not just for plants, though there is always a great range there.

We have soaps, creams, fresh produce and eggs, honey, crafts and the all-important coffee and food offerings. Get those early Christmas gift items, or something special just for you.

And remember that the Carterton Farmers’ Market runs during the Carterton Daffodil Festival on Sunday, 13th September too! All the regular stallholders will be there as well as special guests and old friends.

This is such a lovely day with entertainment and plenty to see. Park up, bring a basket and stroll through the lovely Memorial Square. There is plenty of room to picnic and enjoy a drink.

Locavore has a variety of greens this week including broccoli, baby silver beet, cabbage, coriander, miners lettuce, pak choi, perpetual spinach, spinach, tatsoi, and last but not least leeks and bagged lettuce. Other produce includes radishes, baby carrots, 1/2 dozen free range eggs and some broccoli seedlings. All spray free and compost grown.
