WE’RE HIRING – SATURDAY CASUAL ROLE

Meat Matas is looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our team mainly on Saturdays (8–9 hour shifts), with occasional weekday work available.

The role includes:
• Customer service
• Packing & displaying products
• General cleaning & shop duties
• Helping the team during busy periods

Experience in retail, hospitality, supermarket or butchery is a bonus, but not essential — we’re happy to train the right person.

This role could suit a student or someone looking for extra work, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role down the track for the right person.

We’ve had a few people asking about duck salami — unfortunately we can’t do that (steel shot and mincers don’t mix too well).

We’re officially taking bookings for homekill and custom processing.

Whether you’re a hunter, farmer, or lifestyle block owner, we’re ready to handle your animal properly — clean, professional, and done right.

While we wait on final consent for our new purpose-built facility, we’ve established a professional interim processing site in Hinuera so we can begin operating immediately.

• Vac packed & clearly labelled
