Don't let the rain put you off tomorrow, Omokoroa Markets is still open, we are all inside so you can shop without getting wet and you can park on site. We have lots of young and a bit older sellers hoping to see you.

Whakamarama Kids Market!

We are thrilled to open expressions of interest for a special feature of our monthly Omokoroa market: the Whakamarama Kids Market!

This is a fantastic opportunity for young creators (aged 8–16) living in Whakamarama to gain real-world business experience, showcase their talents, and sell their wares alongside our regular stallholders.

🎨 What Can Kids Sell?

Handmade Treasures: Handmade crafts, artwork, home baking, homegrown plants, or fresh produce.
Pre-loved Goods: Second-hand toys, books, and games in clean, good condition. No clothing or household goods etc and no busking sorry.

📅 Event Details

Date: Saturday, 29 August Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Stallholders must be set up by 8:30 AM and remain for the full duration)
Location: Settlers Hall, Omokoroa

Note: Spaces for the Kids Market are strictly limited, as our young vendors will be selling directly alongside our regular Omokoroa Market stallholders.

What an amazing Craft Destash market we had on Saturday!
Tables overflowing with fabric and wool and paper products and everything in between.
And so many happy shoppers leaving with bag loads of great bargains.
Thank you all for making a great day.
