Well it's been a month since finishing our raw milk season and as usual we are still busy as ever. Not sure this is worthy of a post but most of you would have had to do this at some point. We finally cleaned the windows at the farmhouse and even Billy our inhouse security system has been enjoying the view. A 'welcome' change from the piles of paperwork requiring our attention as we carry on with audit season.🥴 Hope you're all enjoying the weather in the Manawatu.

As we move closer to Winter, the wonderful team at Three Oaks will be giving their herd a rest. If you order their raw milk, you'll know that this week is the last delivery.

For whole milk - Three Oaks have some late-milkers which means their whole milk and pot-set yoghurt will be available in our farm store until mid June.

We've also started stocking Naturalea organic milk which we'll keep supplying through the Winter months. These are available in 1 litre packs so if you’re big milk drinkers, let us know next time you visit the shop, and we can adjust our stock levels.

A big thank you to Teresa, David and Geoff from Three Oaks and all the hard mahi they do to bring their beautiful milk products to our community.

Winter feed changes the flavour of the milk slightly and if you're steaming milk for your coffee you'll find it will airate and bubble more as the girls are supplemented with fermented spring bales from the beginning of the season.
