WE ARE ON! ❤️

So the weather forecast said it was going to be windy today 🌬️

Better safe than sorry, some of our marketeers have tucked themselves under the eaves.

And now… there’s no wind 😂

Oh well! We are here, the market is open and it’s looking like a lovely morning.

🎁 A COLLECTION OF THE BAY’S BEST MARKET HAMPERS

We have had so many people asking about the hampers we created for Father’s Day that we have decided they should not be just a one-off.

From this Sunday, we will officially begin taking Christmas hamper orders. We will also be able to create hampers for birthdays and other special occasions throughout the year.

You can choose one that is already made, add your own extras to it or create something from scratch using products from participating market stallholders.

The reusable wooden box comes with a slatted wooden lid and wooden wool inside and costs $30. You then choose the products you would like us to include. Gift vouchers from participating stallholders can be added too.

Afterpay is available on purchases of $100 or more.

If you would like to see the boxes or talk through some ideas, come and see Carmen at the Little Hands Honey stall or Heidi at the Nana Dunn stall. We will be happy to help you put something together.

It is another lovely way to bring products from several of our local businesses together in one gift.

Everyone’s been messaging to ask what’s inside our Father’s Day hampers… so here it is! 👀

Have a look at all those amazing goodies from our market stallholders. We’ll tag everyone involved so you can find and support their businesses too.

It’s Sunday and we’re on! The vibe inside the hall is already amazing. Caleb Cross is singing live and his voice is incredible. You really need to come and hear him for yourself! 🎶

Remember, it’s the last Sunday of the month, so Wolfgang is here with the best German sausages. Moosh Bro is here too, along with all your favourite regulars and plenty of delicious food and local goodies.

And the long-awaited Pāpāmoa Community Market Father’s Day hampers are finally ready! Have a look at the photos because wow, they have turned out beautifully. Afterpay is available on the gift boxes too, so you can get Dad’s present sorted today.

Tomorrow’s market is moving inside the hall!

The rain should clear and it won’t be too cold, but the wind is expected to pick up later in the morning. To keep everyone safe and comfortable, we’ve made the call to set up indoors.

And it’s going to be such a lovely Sunday in the hall. Caleb Cross will be singing live for us, and because it’s the last Sunday of the month, Wolfgang is back with the best German sausages.

Come hungry because there’ll be amazing street food, fresh produce, Nana Dunn’s much loved preserves, cookies, gelato, local honey, baking and plenty more.

You’ll also find beautiful arts and crafts and all the friendly local faces that make our market what it is.

Rain or shine, we’ll be there. Come for breakfast or lunch, enjoy the music and spend your Sunday morning with the community. 💛

They say summer bodies are made in winter. Apparently summer market favourites are too. 😂

Some of our stallholders didn’t wait for the warmer weather to get started.

Divine Gelato began trading through winter with his amazing gelato flavours and later added those delicious doughnuts.

Citrus Club joined more recently with their lemonades made fresh to order, and they’ve already gone a little viral locally.

Both are now booked for spring and summer, so our gelato and lemonade spaces are sorted.

We’ve opened applications for the warmer months and have limited availability for businesses bringing something different to the market.

The wind has joined us this morning, but it’s really not too bad, so come down and spend your Sunday with the community! 😊

We have a few new stallholders to discover today, alongside your favourite weekly regulars.

Have a look through the photos for a little sneak peek. There are natural wellness products, colourful handmade clothing, woven bags and beautiful jewellery, plus a very fun lemonade topped with fairy floss and lollies.

If you’re coming hungry, Divine Gelato has gelato, brioche doughnuts and lamingtons, while Nana Dunn has her much loved pickled onions, including chilli, balsamic and apple cider vinegar with honey varieties.

Frenchs Farm has also generously donated apples to our Pātaka Kai for the community. Please help yourself if you need some, available until they’re gone. 🍎

Come for something delicious, have a wander, meet our new stallholders and spend a little time with the people who make our Sunday market what it is.

The greatest honour for a small business is a repeat customer.

The weather wasn’t exactly on our side again today, and with so much happening around town the Food show and other markets on too, seeing so many of you still choose to spend part of your Sunday with us meant more than you probably realise.

There were familiar faces everywhere, happy stallholders and even a few sold out signs. That is what supporting local looks like. Thank you for continuing to show up for the small businesses that show up for you each week.

One of our favourite regulars is Reuben. He and his family come to the market almost every Sunday all the way from Ōmokoroa , and his favourite person to visit is Nikki from Paint with a Biologist. Thank you, Nikki, for being so wonderful with him and for making Sundays at the market so special. Moments like this are what our community market is really about.

To everyone who visited, shopped, ate, chatted and supported our stallholders today, thank you. We appreciate every single one of you and cannot wait to see you all again next week. 💛

It’s Sunday and the market is on! ☀️

It’s warmer this morning and we even have a few rays of sunshine coming through, so come down for breakfast or lunch, have a wander and enjoy your Sunday with us.

There is so much delicious food, fresh produce, baking, preserves, local honey, arts, crafts and wonderful local businesses to support.

Rain or shine, we’re here for you, just as you’re always here for us. 💛

Tomorrow’s market is looking like a very good reason to come hungry.

Saffa Sizzle will be serving South African boerewors rolls, Petite Crepe will have traditional French crêpes and savoury galettes, and Divine Dine is bringing gelato, doughnuts and lamingtons.

Hoji Coji will be there with Japanese cheesecake and delicious Japanese drinks, Citrus Club Lemonade will keep everyone refreshed, and The Full Package Fairy Godmother will have even more beautiful treats to tempt you.

Synergetic Solutions is bringing oyster mushrooms, mushroom jerky, mushroom butter and plenty more, while Bailey Creations will have their lovely handmade soaps, bath bombs and body products.

And yes, Freedom Chef is back with his delicious preserves! So many of you have missed him and asked when he would be returning, so make sure you stop by and say hello.

These are only some of tomorrow’s vendors. All your amazing weekly regulars will be there too, with fresh produce, baking, local honey, street food, arts, crafts and plenty of goodies to take home.

Come hungry, bring the family and enjoy a relaxed Sunday morning supporting local businesses. We’re family friendly and your dogs are very welcome too. 🐾
